Student Scholarships

Student Scholarships are offered annually to graduating students. These scholarships are funded through endowments as well as annual contributions by businesses and individuals in the community.

Note:  The friends of the Patnaude family are in the process of establishing a scholarship fund in Tyler’s memory.  If you wish to donate, go to our “Get Involved” page for more information on how to do so.

CIS Chesterfield is part of the nation’s largest non-profit dropout prevention program, serving at-risk students at the elementary, middle and high school levels. CIS Chesterfield is recognized as one of the model programs in the nationwide dropout prevention effort. CIS currently provides volunteer mentoring, job shadowing and support services to Chesterfield County Public Schools students in three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.

The Chesterfield Education Foundation has been a partner of CIS Chesterfield from its inception in 1993. CEF shares CIS’s commitment to dropout prevention and academic success. http://www.cisofchesterfield.org


From Crayons to Computers Store

crayons to computers storeFrom Crayons to Computers Store is a retail depot administered by the Chesterfield County Public Schools Community Relations office. The store offers teachers in Chesterfield County Public Schools access, at no cost, to an array of donated merchandise for use in their classrooms. Items range from office and school supplies to furniture and equipment.

From Crayons to Computers' success is dependent upon generous financial and in-kind contributions from individuals and businesses across Chesterfield County. The Chesterfield Education Foundation is proud to be a sponsor. CEF makes an annual financial contribution to supplement the store's inventory.

From Crayons to Computers is located at Spring Rock Green, 7138 Midlothian Turnpike, Suite K, Richmond, VA. In-kind donations, e.g., supplies, materials, equipment can be dropped off at the store during regular store hours between 2:30 and 5:30 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Financial contributions can be made to purchase supplemental supplies by clicking on "Donate" or can be sent to the Chesterfield Education Foundation at P.O. Box 3883, Richmond, VA 23235. Checks should be made out to "Chesterfield Education Foundation," you may designate "From Crayons to Computers" on the memo line.
